Early in the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel and will travel by songthaew (pickup truck) through the green hilly landscape to the northwest where we arrive at the Lisu Lodge approximately 2 hours later. Here you are greeted with a welcome drink and you can meet with your hosts and women. Outside, the bicycles are already ready and we drive at a quiet pace through the beautiful surroundings about 13 kilometers to the elephant camp. Your bike is exchanged here for a basket, high on the back of an elephant and a little later you swing through the jungle. What a variety of green vegetation! After an hour we arrive at a river, where you will have a delicious Thai lunch.
Then it’s really exciting and you’ll drop down the river by bamboo raft or rubber boat, over rapids and along the lush green banks. We go back to land in a traditional Thai village. From here you can choose from a bike or truck again to the Lisu Lodge, but first we stop at a village of the Akha Mountain Tribe for a visit to the Shaman (spiritual healer) who can tell you about traditional medicine.
At 16:00 we are at the Lodge, where you will be picked up by pickup truck to your hotel in Chang Mai.
