KHAO YAI NATIONAL PARK/NATIONAL WORLD HERITAGE SITE: Established in 1962, it is also the third largest and the most popular national park in Thailand, listed as world heritage site in 2005. Khao Yai has it all; series of trails for hiking, total 35-40 km long, impressive waterfalls, impressive wildlife. It is relatively easy to see deer species, elephants, hornbills, gibbons, macaques, porcupines, civets.

Khao Yai is no doubt the best national park in Thailand for regular visitors where it is relatively easy to see number of interesting animals. The national park is also home to around 300 residents and migratory birds and has one of Thailand's largest populations of hornbills. If you are a natural lover, Khao Yai National; the first and oldest national park in Thailand is the “must place” where shouldn’t be missed.
