Trip information

Day 1: Bangkok
After arriving at Bangkok Airport, you will be picked up at the airport and brought to your hotel by minibus. After a few hours of rest, visit the Wat Trimit on the program. Here is the famous Golden Buddha and take a walk through the colorful Chinatown alleyways under the guidance of the guide.

Day 2: Bangkok
After breakfast we go to the vibrant flower market and the stunning Royal Palace with the Emerald Buddha. In the afternoon, relax in the hotel, because later on we leave for Samut Songkhram. Here we dine and in the dark and we take a boat trip to swarms of fireflies, which sit in some trees as flashing lights. We are staying in Bangkok again.

Day 3: Bangkok en omgeving
In the morning we visit the famous floating market of Damnoen Saduak, which sells fruit, vegetables and other foods in many small boats. After this we leave for Nakom Pathom where we visit the highest Jedi in the world. We return to the hotel and spend the rest of the day free.

Day 4: Bangkok – Kanchanaburi
After breakfast we leave behind the crowds of Bangkok and leave for Kanchanaburi. Here is the famous bridge over the River Kwai. Of course, we will visit the bridge, the grand honor, the Jeath Museum and make a train trip on the Burma railway line. Then we go by boat to our floating hotel in the middle of the jungle. This wooden and bamboo-made hotel is simple, but it has a shower, toilet and veranda with hammock. There is no electricity, but the many oil lamps give a magic atmosphere. In the evening there is a communal dinner.

Day 5: Kanchanaburi
After breakfast we leave with a longtail boat to the Sai Yok Yai waterfall and its park. After this we swim with lifejackets, carried by the flow of the River Kwai, back to the hotel. We can also go to a lavagrot with a canoe. After we have visited the cave, you will be resettled by boat at the Flotel. Lunch and dinner are in the hotel and in the evening you can enjoy the Mon-dancing by people of the locals.

Day 6: Kanchanaburi – Ayuthaya
In the morning we leave for Ayutthaya, where we first visit the summer palace Bang Pa. Per ‘James Bond boat’ we leave for Ayutthaya, where we visit the remains of ancient city temples. The overnight stay is also in this old capital.

Day 7: Ayuthaya – Tak
This morning we leave for breakfast after breakfast. On the way we visit Sing Buri, where we will visit the longest-lying Buddha and then after Lop Buri, known as a monkey city. The night is in Tak.

Day 8: Tak – Mae Sot
We leave for Mae Sot, a corner of Thailand, where one of the few connections with Burma is possible. On the way some places are visited. After check-in at the hotel we also visit the border and the associated border market or Ma Mui. Dining and overnight stay is in Mae Sot.

Day 9: Mae Sot – Umphang
Today we make a beautiful trip through the mountains after picking up to Umphang. On the way we visit the Highland Farm, a gorgeous waterfall and a local market. Lunch is on the way to a picnic area with a lunch box. In Umphang we spend the night in a beautiful resort and visit another cave for dinner.

Day 10: Umphang – Tee Lor Su
In the early morning we leave after breakfast, by pick-up, to the river for a 4-hour raft. After dinner (lunch box) we start the jungle trek to the area near the Tee Lor Su waterfall. Dinner and overnight stay are in this national park.

Day 11: Tee Lor Su – Karenstam
After breakfast, we visit the most beautiful waterfall in the world, the’Tee Lor Su’. If the waterfall is not too wild, here is the opportunity to swim. After lunch, the journey continues through the jungle to the Karenstam. Here we stay and have dinner.

Day 12: Karenstam – Mae Sot
This morning we will continue with the trip through the jungle after breakfast, by elephant. This ride takes about 4 hours. After lunch we leave again with the pick up direction Mae Sot. We spend the night here in a beautiful resort in the middle of the rice fields

Day 13: Mae Sot – Lampang
The day starts with a rich breakfast and the trip goes by the minibus to Lampang. On the way we visit a local market and the Bumiphon Dam. This dam is very important for power supply in Thailand. The overnight stay is in Lampang.

Day 14: Lampang – Chiang Mai
Today we leave for the multifaceted city of Chiang Mai. On the way we visit the Talad Tung Kien (wildlife market) and an elephant hospital. In the afternoon there is a visit to Sankampeng’s crafts district on the program. The night is in Chiang Mai.

Day 15: Chiang Mai
We stay today in Chang Mai, where we visit the beautiful Doi Su Thep Temple, located on a mountain after breakfast. Hereafter you can choose from several options:
✓Baan Tawai (woodcut village);
✓Doi Inthanon (highest point of Thailand);
✓Bicycle tour;
✓City and temple tour;
✓Orchid nursery.
The evening is for free use.

Day 16: Chiang Mai – Pai
This morning we leave for Pai after breakfast. The road leads us through a beautiful mountain range, where we can enjoy the many rice plantations. On the way we lunch and visit some beautiful places. Dining and overnight stays take place in the mountain village of Pai, which is scenically beautiful in nature.

Day 17: Pai – Mae Hong Son
The trip continues to Mae Hong Son. On the way we visit a fishing cave in a beautiful nature reserve. In Mae Hong Son, you can relax for the rest of the day and enjoy your hotel.

Day 18: Mae Hong Son
After breakfast we visit the local temple and go to the Langnek Karenstam. The women of this tribe have a pair of rings around their neck, so they are called giraffe women. The rest of the day is for free use.

Day 19: Mae Hong Son – Chiang Mai
The morning is free. In the afternoon we fly back to Chiang Mai with a domestic flight, bringing the minibus to the train. That night, the journey continues by a luxury night train to Bangkok, where we arrive at 6 o’clock the next morning.

Day 20: Bangkok – Cha-am
In the early morning, we first enjoy a hotel with a rich breakfast buffet, after which we drive with the minibus to Cha-am. A place to enjoy the beach and to help with the trip.

Day 21 en 22: Cha-am
These days we stay there in a luxurious seafront hotel to impress us with the recent impressions.

Day 23: Cha-am airport – Bangkok
Unfortunately, today we say goodbye. In the afternoon there is a late check-out of the hotel. By minibus departures to Suvarnabhumi Airport
