Trip information

Day 1 Bangkok
After arriving at Bangkok Airport you will be picked up at the airport and brought to your hotel by minibus. The day is free to spend and there is an opportunity for dinner in Thailand’s tallest building.

Day 2 Bangkok
After breakfast we go to the lively flower market and visit the Wat Po (this is the temple of the longest Buddhist image). Later in the day there is a visit to the Buddhist shopping district and the Golden Mountain Temple on the program. There is also an opportunity for a boat trip on Bangkok’s “Klongs”.

Day 3 Bangkok – Ayuthaya – Mae Sot
After breakfast, we leave for Ayutthaya, where we visit the remains of the historic temples. Afterwards we drive further through the mountains towards Mae Sot. Here we dine and overnight in a beautiful resort in the middle of the rice fields.

Day 4 Mae Sot – soft-tracking
After breakfast we leave for Mae La Mao, picking up for 1 hour and 1 hour rafting. In the afternoon you can relax in the surrounding area of the resort. Later there is an opportunity to dine in an idyllically located restaurant.

Day 5 Mae Sot – Lampang
In the morning we will leave with the minibus to Lampang. On the way we visit some interesting places including the Bhumiphon Dam. We spend the night in Lampang.

Day 6: Lampang – Chiang Rai
By the minibus we drive through the mountains to Chang Rai. We visit the pineapple plantations, the largest natural lake of Payao. Near Chang Rai we visit the highest mountain “Doi Tung” with Wat Phra That Doi Tung. We spend the night on the mountain in a beautiful resort.

Day 7: Doi Tung – Mae Sa Long
After breakfast, we visit the Royal Villa, the palace of the mother of the king. It is famous for its beautiful flower garden. Then continue to Mae Sa Long, a scenic place in the mountains of northern Thailand. We stay and dine here in a hotel.

Day 8: Mae Sa Long – Chiang Mai
We are heading south today. On the way we visit the hot springs and arrived in Chang Mai we visit the beautiful temple Wat Doi Sutep. We stay in this versatile city and there is an opportunity for a dinner with surprise.

Day 9 en 10: Chiang Mai
Today we visit the crafts near Sankampheng in the area. In the afternoon it is free for spending or an opportunity to visit the woodcut village of Baan Tawai. Day 2 here is a day for free spending and there is an opportunity for a Thai massage.

Day 11: Chiang Mai – nachttrein
In the morning there is an opportunity to visit the minibus at the highest point of Thailand Doi in Tanon located in a beautiful natural park. Later in the afternoon we leave for the station where we go to Bangkok with the sleeper train.

Day 12, 13 en 14: Bangkok – Cha-am
After arriving in Bangkok and having a delicious breakfast, we leave for our beach location in Cha-am. We stay here for the next 4 days and 3 nights based on bed and breakfast.

Day 15: Cha-am – Bangkok
Late in the afternoon we leave for Suvarnabhumi Airport.
