Trip information

Day 1: Bangkok
After arriving in Bangkok, also called Krung Thep, you will be picked up at the airport and brought to your hotel by minibus. A visit to the Holy City Palace will be visited on the same day and you can walk through the colorful alleys of the Chinese Quarter (Chinatown) under the guidance of the guide.

Day 2: Bangkok
After breakfast we go to the stunning royal palace with the Jeddah Buddha, the lively flower market and Wat Po. After this we take a boat trip over the Klongs (Venice of the East).

Day 3: Bangkok en omgeving
In the morning we will visit the Don Waai (local market) and take a boat trip on the program. Alternatively, you can choose from: the wax museum, the Buddhist park, a Buddhist shopping district, a department store or something else.

Day 4: Van Bangkok naar Pitsanulok
After breakfast we leave behind the crowds of Bangkok and visit the Summer Palace Bang Pa In, after which we make a James Bond boat trip. For the rest of the day you can choose again. Suggestions? What about a visit to 3 temples in Ayutthaya or the monkey city of Lop Buri. Or do you want to see Thailand’s tallest lying Buddha in Sing Buri?

Day 5: Pitsanulok – Sukhothai – Chiang Rai
In the morning, we visit a Buddhist factory and from there it goes to Wat Mahathat. What (here’s not meant to be a temple!) Is Hollander than cycling through the old city of Sukothai.

Day 6: Chiang Rai
Today we visit the Doi Tung palace and meet a mountain tribe. In Mai Sai we are doing a market on the border with Burma. The Golden Triangle speaks to everyone’s imagination and you can see if it’s worth it. Still, illegal poppy is being cultivated here for the opium industry.

Day 7: Chiang Rai – Laos
After breakfast you leave for the border area to cross the Mekong with a local boat towards Laos. You will get a lunch box. You pick up a number of places per pickup. You dine and spend the night in Laos

Day 8: Laos – Chiang Mai
It may be a bit of a strange time, but at 5:29 you will first sacrifice to Buddhist monks. Then you earned your breakfast. You travel back to Thailand (Chiang Mai).

Day 9 en 10: Chiang Mai
You stay for 2 days in Chiang Mai and you can choose 3 activities from the following 9. Wat Doi Sutep (temple with stunning views), Sankamheng (craft village), Tawai (Woodcut Village), Elephant Camp, Waterfall and Chiangdao Cave, Doi in Tanon (national park), temple and city tour, orchid nursery and a cycling tour.

Day 11: Chiang Mai – Pai
After breakfast you leave for Pai. The road leads through a beautiful mountain area where you can enjoy the many rice fields. On the way we lunch and visit some beautiful places. Dining and overnight stays take place in the mountain village of Pai, which is scenically beautiful in nature.

Day 12: Pai – Mae Hong Son
You can see pictures of the long-haired Karenstam. Let the pictures become reality. The women of this tribe carry a large number of rings around their neck, which they also call them giraffe women. Subsequently we make a fish cave. What’s more beautiful to end with visiting a … temple!

Day 13: Mae Hong Son – Chiang Mai – nachttrein
The morning is free to spend and in the afternoon we return to Chiang Mai by domestic flight. The journey goes on there by a luxury night train to Bangkok, where you arrive at the next morning around 6 pm. During the train journey, you will receive a lunch box with Thai delights from the tour guide.

Day 14, 15, 16 en 17: Bangkok – Pattaya
You have a rich breakfast buffet. In total, we left Bangkok by minibus towards the fashionable Pattaya. At the end of the holiday you will enjoy 4 days in a luxury hotel of sun, beach and nightlife.

Day 18: Pattaya – Bangkok
We are sure that you would like to stay longer because you have had a great time. But as with everything, this experience ends. At 18:00 you will go to Suvarnabhumi Airport. The plane brings you back to the cold Netherlands with its so limited culinary possibilities.

BANGKOK: As the political, economic, cultural, culinary, and spiritual capital of Thailand, Bangkok features both old-world charm and modern convenience, at times served up in an apparently chaotic manner, but always with a gracious smile. Invariably, every Thailand holiday includes a visit to the kingdom’s capital city, Bangkok, or Krung Thep, “the city of angels” as it is known to its inhabitants.

Many tourists who travel to Bangkok are immediately overwhelmed by the sheer size of the city and the vast number of attractions Bangkok has to offer; the Grand Palace & the Temple of Emerald Buddha, the Temple of Dawn, Wat Po, the historical and cultural district of Rattanakosin Quarter, cruising along the winding Chao Phya River and its canals and etc.,

Day 1 : Arrive in Bangkok by Flight TBA and transfer from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to your selected hotel

Day 2 : In the morning visit to "The Grand Palace"and "Wat Po Tour". In the afternoon travel to "Thonburi Klongs" and "Wat Arun"

Day 3 : Enjoy the company of an elephant in Pattaya at the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary "Elephant Day Care Incl."

Day 4 : Day will be at leisure for your own exploring until the departure time
